From the Club President:
This is a reminder that the club will be attending the races at Lucas Oil Speedway on July 23rd. In return for displaying our cars, there will be free admission to the track for at least 25 persons. If we have more going, I will need to ask for more tickets – you will need to be in one of the cars to be displayed for the free admission. Apparently, there is a new driveway up the backside of the display area so that we will not have to drive through the crowd as in the past. The track would ask that all cars be in place on the midway behind the grandstand by 5.
They are aware of the security problem and will have a security guard near the cars. In addition, the event coordinator will be nearby watching the cars since she is working with another group in the area.
ASAP, please tell me if you plan to attend so I can give them a car count along with an estimated number of attendees.
Lucas Oil will also donate some of their products for the All Ford Show.
Just so you will know, the drag boat facility is almost finished. Races will be held
later this summer.
